Facebook-How to Block Facebook Notifications

Do you hate checking your email or phone and finding a million notifications from Facebook? You can stop these notifications from flooding your inbox! Here is an easy way to block those pesky Facebook notifications

     Log in to your Facebook account. On your home page, click on "Account" in the top right corner. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on "Account Settings."

     Click the "Notifications" tab. A categorized list of all types of notifications will appear. Uncheck any unwanted notifications and click "Save Changes" at the bottom.

     You can also access that list by clicking on the globe icon at the top of your home page. Click "See All Notifications" and then click "Notification Settings" on the top right.

     To block Facebook notifications in your news feed simply put your cursor in the top right corner of the post. An X and "Remove" will appear.

     Click the X. You will then have the options to hide just that post, hide all posts from that person or page, or mark the post as spam. Unfortunately, there is no longer a way to block a single type of post, such as everyone's videos.

     You can, however, only see one type of notification at a time. Click "Most Recent" at the top right of the News Feed page. Then choose what type of post you would like to see
