Facebook is a great way to stay connected to friends, old and new. Now you can install Facebook on an iPhone to check your friends' statuses and keep in touch while on the go. Here's how.

     Update your iPhone software. To install Facebook on an iPhone, your iPhone software needs to be at least version 2.1.1, so if necessary, simply go to iTunes to install the latest version of your iPhone's software.

     Go to the App Store. On the main screen of your iPhone, select the Apple App Store button.

     Search for Facebook. At the bottom of the App Store screen, select the Search button (magnifying glass). In the search window, type 'Facebook' and select 'Search'. Select Facebook.

     Install Facebook. At the top of the screen, hit the 'Free' button, then 'Install'. Allow the Facebook software to install. Be patient, it could take a few minutes. After the installation is complete, you will see a Facebook icon on your main iPhone screen.
