Facebook-How to Use Facebook On Xbox 360

A new update to the Xbox 360 now allows Xbox Live Gold members to access the many features of Facebook right from their couch.

Intructions

First, in order to use Facebook over Xbox Live on the Xbox 360, you will need to have an Xbox 360 connected to the internet (wireless or wired is fine).

Next, you need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership. If you do not have one yet, you can purchase one directly on your Xbox 360 (provided it is connected to the internet).

Press the center "Xbox" button on the controller and select "Join Xbox Live". Be sure to sign up for a paid Gold membership.

You also need to geta Facebook account to access Facebook on the Xbox 360. If you do not have one, go to the Facebook website and follow the sing up steps (it's free).

Now, turn on your Xbox 360 and make sure you are in the main dashboard (press "B" to go back and make sure you are in the main dashboard). Scroll up until you see "My Community".

Once you scroll up to community, you should see "Facebook" as one of the selections.

You may also be able to access Facebook in the Xbox Dashboard via other shortcuts such as the "Featured" dashboard menu.

If it is the first time you have opened Facebook on the Xbox 360, your console will do a quick download for the software.

After the download is complete, open the Facebook program on your Xbox 360 by navigating to it and pressing "A". When launching Facebook for the first time on your Xbox 360, you will be prompted for your login/password.

After providing this, you are able to log in and use Facebook over Xbox Live
