Purple is a band whose members Pasha Indonesia (singer), Makki (bass), Enda (guitar), Oncy (guitar), and Rowman (drums). Until 2007 they have produced 4 albums and 2 mini albums.

Purple was formed in 1996. Motor constituent is Ekky (guitar) and then the vocalist is Michael, while the drum is held by Pasha Van Derr Krabb. In 1997, when Violet want a gig, Pasha Van Derr Krabb 'disappeared' and replace by Rowman. Enda, who was previously his roadies Ekky also joined with the Purple.

In 2000, Purple begin preparing their first album, which finally was released July 6, 2002 title song. Previously, Purple participate fill out 2 songs on a compilation album together click Lakuna, Borneo, Picnic, and Energy. The second song is "Desire" and "Flowers". Purple's second album was released in December 2003 most beautiful place. This album is a candidate "Because He's You" as the first single and "Voice of Heart" was chosen as the second single. Before the mini-album was released, three of the five songs have been chosen as the soundtrack of religious soap opera that aired during the month of Ramadan.

Purple again won the award for the category 'Band Ngetop' in the arena of SCTV Music Awards 2007, which took place at JCC Senayan Jakarta, Friday, August 24, 2007. In that event, Purple managed to put the other bands, like The Band, Peterpan, Radja, and newcomers are suddenly popular, Kangen Band. In 2007, Purple with Samson and Naff, nicknamed 'The Rising Star' band by a grand musical concert organizers Soundrenaline, A Mild Live Productions and Detection Productions, also by the giant record label Musica Studio.
